Bronte Stag Weekend 2018
Preparations are well underway for our 2018 Stag Party at Bronteto be held September 14th through 16th. We'll enjoy tours of places of interest in the Burlington area together with a country drive on both days. On Friday, we will visit the Raptor Centre at Mountsberg with a scenic country drive;lunch will be at the Wundeba Restaurant at Mount Nemo and Official Venue for the 2015 Porsche Club of America "Concours D'elegance"; while on Saturday, the Toronto Triumph Club has generously invited us for a picnic in Bronte Park followed by a scenic drive. Sunday, September 16, is of course the big show in Bronte Provincial Park , just a 15-minute drive from the hotel. For accommodation we have chosen the Holiday Inn, Burlington , located at 3063 South Service Road (just south of the QEW/403 at Guelph Line). The hotel offers good amenities and, most importantly, there is ample parking even if you bring a trailer. We have secured Premium King-size rooms on the exclusive top (sixth) floor which have a refrigerator, microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. The hotel has an excellent indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. There is a restaurant in the hotel and five restaurants within 5-minutes walking distance. Rooms are reserved on a first-come basis, so make sure you book early…... when they are gone they are gone. The rate is CAN$130 plus tax. Call 905-639-4443 or email the Holiday Inn . Rooms are reserved under the name of the British Saloon Car Club. Besides joining the largest group of Stags in North America you will have the opportunity to attend what is the largest British car show in North America, with well over 1,000 British vehicles participating. Each year amazes me with the rare models of vehicles that appear, many of which I have not seen for years. You can optionally pre- register for the car show and save $5 through the Toronto Triumph Club's website rather than pay at the gate. Go to the and click on Fast Lane Registration when it becomes active. This will speed up your entry into the park. With road improvements on Burloak Drive and the pre-entry option, access to the park should be easier than ever this year. For further information, contact Tony Fox or telephone: 905-632-0479.
